Reaching out and asking for help is a courageous act. Everyone’s life challenges are unique, and no one deserves to deal with them in isolation. Having over twenty-five years of clinical experience, I rely on variety of psychotherapy techniques and theories to provide optimal care. These include Somatic Experiencing, mindfulness, contemporary psychoanalysis, Jungian psychology, Trauma Resiliency Model, transpersonal psychology, cognitive therapy, and Eastern psychology.

As a licensed marriage and family therapist for over two decades, I have had the privilege of working with clients from different walks of life. These include but are not limited to lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, intersex, queer/questioning, asexual (LGBTQIA+), people of color, and people from diverse religious and socioeconomic backgrounds. In addition, I have an interest and many years of experience helping professionals in creative fields to embrace their artistic gifts and fulfill their dreams. Moreover, I am skilled at creating a safe therapeutic space along with providing caring and time-efficient therapy.

My professional experience also includes serving as a teacher for the Doctoring Program at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA. Teaching medical students about the psychological factors that impact patient health has enhanced my ability to discuss complex topics in an easier to understand fashion.
